Is Praecheck antivirus?
No. Praecheck is a data exposure assessment tool. It does not claim to detect malware, spyware or surveillance actors.
Does Praecheck upload my scan?
No. Praecheck is designed to assess the handset locally and does not upload assessment results.
Why are some checks marked capability or verify?
Android limits what an ordinary app can prove. Praecheck distinguishes granted or observed state from app declarations, inferred capability and checks that require user verification.
Does a high score mean my phone is compromised?
No. Scores prioritise exposure and correlation potential. They are not evidence of compromise, collection by a specific party or threat-actor access.
How is Praecheck delivered?
